Honest help for hurting relationships

Guiding couples from relational crisis to lasting connection

Couples Therapy For Your Hardest Season

Your marriage wasn’t always like this. You’ve worked so hard, for so long to build a life and family together. Now you’re at a breaking point. You don’t even recognize yourself or your spouse anymore. Maybe you’re questioning if you ever really knew them at all.

I work with:

I’m Here to Help You Rebuild the “Us” in Your Relationship

Hi, I’m Heather Seguin, a couples therapist in Murrieta, CA and I help high-functioning Millennial and Gen X couples who are successful in most areas of life but feel disconnected at home. You’ve read the books, tried the podcasts, maybe even gone to therapy before, but nothing has reached the heart of what’s wrong.

You’re not looking for quick fixes or surface-level communication tips. You want to rebuild the foundation of your marriage so it can be a steady, loving place again.

Heather Seguin, sex addiction and betrayal trauma expert, sitting on a light grey armchair in her Murrieta therapy office.

My Style

I’m warm, direct, honest, and realistic. I will be both your cheerleader and your challenger. I firmly believe in the relational nature of therapy; we are interconnected humans on a journey toward greater wholeness within ourselves and deeper intimacy with those we love.

I offer support without sugar-coating and confrontation without judgment.

I help high-functioning Millennial and Gen X couples move from disconnection and resentment to closeness and mutual respect through direct, compassionate, and practical couples therapy in Murrieta, CA.

How did working with Heather help you?

  • “Be more open with each other. Communicate better. Be able to talk about our feelings. Knowing boundaries. Bring to light an issue I had no idea existed. Help my husband be comfortable talking to me about his issue. Felt great that we were able to talk to a professional about the issue at hand.”

  • “Helped me understand addiction and create healthy boundaries for myself. Allowed me to have some control in my own relationship rather than just feel like a victim waiting for him to figure it out.”

  • “Empowered me to set and follow through with healthy boundaries.”

    C.J.

  • “Heather was a fantastic coach to my husband and I when we found ourselves arguing more and more often without resolving issues. Each time it was hurting our relationship further. Heather helped us to see what we were doing or believing that was hurting the other and helped us to find ways back into productive discussions to resolve issues when they arise.”
